Kiwanis Victoria Foundation

Welcome to the Victoria Kiwanis Foundation

At the heart of our community stands the Victoria Kiwanis Foundation, affectionately referred to as "The Foundation." Our mission is deeply rooted in fostering positive change and supporting the betterment of society through compassionate and dedicated service.

Our Purpose

  1. Dedication to Charity: We actively seek, encourage, and gratefully receive various forms of donations, bequests, and gifts. Through these contributions, we aim to establish a robust trust fund that exclusively supports charitable and welfare initiatives.
  2. Empowering Children: We are committed to nurturing, educating, and guiding children to become responsible Canadian citizens, ensuring their holistic development and future success.
  3. Supporting the Needy: We prioritize the overall well-being of those in need, providing essential aid and resources to enhance their quality of life.
  4. Community Service: We take pride in initiating, advocating for, and supporting activities that serve our community, striving to make a tangible, positive impact.
  5. Promoting Global Betterment: In alignment with our values, we engage in various charitable endeavors that contribute to the advancement and improvement of our world.

Commitment Beyond

In the event of winding up our operations, we reaffirm our commitment to our charitable mission. After meeting all obligations and expenses, including liquidator remuneration, any remaining assets shall be entrusted to Canadian charitable associations as determined by our Board of Directors. This clause remains unalterable per Section 17 of the Societies Act, ensuring our enduring dedication to charitable causes.

Local Roots, Global Impact

While our foundation is rooted in the Greater Victoria area of British Columbia, our aspirations and impact extend far beyond geographical boundaries. We strive to make a meaningful difference not only in our immediate community but also on a larger scale, aiming for a world where compassion and generosity prevail.

Join us as we continue to uphold these values and work tirelessly towards creating a brighter, more equitable future for all.
